It’s not about cost. It’s the principle. Banks shud be encouraging customers to use cards & digital channels not finding ways to charge them for basic self-service.

في عام 1990، وقت أن كان يبلغ من العمر 12 عامًا اقتحمت الشرطة الهندية منزله، وألقوا بأخته البالغة من العمر 18 عامًا من النافذة، ما أدى إلى كسر ظهرها، وتركتها الدولة من دون علاج لانها مسلمة حتى فارقت الحياة.

وقُتل والده بعد تعرضه للتعذيب والضرب، بينما تعرض شكيل نفسه لتعذيب شديد.

توفي شقيقه بسبب نزيف دماغي، ووالده أصبح طريح الفراش نتيجة الضغوط والانتهاكات المتكررة التي تعرضت لها العائلة.

وفي عام 2007، التُقطت له تلك الصورة الشهيرة أثناء مشاركته في احتجاجات ضد الرسوم المسيئة للنبي ﷺ

وتعرض للاعتقال مئات المرات وقضى سنوات بين السجون حتى خروجه في 2020.

الصورة التي لفت العالم لتشويه الإسلام ويراها البعض “رمزًا للتطرف ” خلفها إنسان عاش الظلم بكل ماتحمله الكلمة من معنى.

Seems their website is this: https://t.co/HuY4o0b4iT. Domain was registered in March 2025. Site doesn't load properly and ends up in an Arabic form (see images). I had to use Chrome devtools to make scrolling work. Then I see the attached projects. Gotta love what their clients say (see image). And the managing director has his job title spelt wrong (see image).

This appears to be the managing director: https://t.co/BqL9Mgt7TF who is apparently a procurement consultant for World Bank and/or ADB. According to the content from their site as summarized by Google, another director is "Sulaiman Nazamat Umar Mohamed Nizar is a Sri Lankan biotechnology professional and General Manager at Mike Biotech Asia Pvt Ltd since 2017. He holds a BSc (Hons) ..."

Major Turnaround for Sri Lanka's Bus Depots as Losses Shrink Dramatically

🚌 Sri Lanka Transport Board depots have shifted toward profitability according to Deputy Minister of Transport and Highways Prasanna Gunasena.

📉 Earlier, 63 of the 107 depots operating across 12 regions struggled even to cover staff salaries.

🔧 Recent management reforms over the past few months brought the figure of struggling depots down to 13.

💰 At present only four depots still require funding from the head office to meet payroll costs.

📈 Officials are actively working to convert loss-making state institutions into profitable ones under the current program.
