Secret Santa in the office, Diwali in the office, and dances in the office.
Just to satisfy employees at the workplace so they won't demand more money or resist 70-hour weeks.
Outside India, employers never force employees to celebrate festivals in the office. They simply declare Christmas holidays. Slave mentality persists in Indian workplaces.
Some people may find this offensive, but you're literally wearing good clothes, spending money on Secret Santa gifts, and still working in the office with no holiday. Employers gift dry fruits and utensils for Diwali rather than cash.
At least take your team on a vacation or give them freedom to enjoy the off-season. What's the obsession with doing everything in the same building during the same office hours?
A lot of designers got so busy chasing a seat at the table, talking about KPIs and metrics, that they forgot how to create something beautiful.

Morning call with a client made me realise whether it's UI/UX or Graphic design, in both fields Business Owners tend to overlook the importance of research

Gave another interview which again lasted for 1 hour, on which first 15 mins were basically he telling me that I should not go after freelancing and how this hampers my growth 🤡
@uxvinayj Apparently here in corporate culture people think that if you are sitting at a higher position then you have the right to say anything (not necessary that it should make sense)
@rehanxahmed @uxvinayj and the interesting part that he boasted about was that he has the experience of 15+ years and still stuck in corporate culture lmaoo
