Really excited to announce the release of our book about Kafka Connect!
It covers all the aspects of Kafka Connect, from designing pipelines from a data engineer's pov, to setting up and running clusters for production use cases, to developing your own connectors and plugins.
Today’s Apache Kafka 3.1.0 release brings custom partitioners in foreign-key joins, FetchRequest support for topic IDs, SASL/OAUTHBEARER support for OIDC, new MirrorMaker configuration controls, and more! Read the key updates in @davidjacot's blog post: https://t.co/LWVsVewVrP
Wow, that chart is a depressing sight. > 40% of #log4j2 downloads from Maven Central are still for vulnerable versions 🤯, one week into #Log4Shell! In that light, blocking these downloads by default is an option worth evaluating IMO.
If you have a #Maven parent POM for your org or project, here's an enforcer rule to put into it which will ban any current of future usage of vulnerable #log4j2 versions.

Absolutely loving this 🥰! This will be amazing for API docs of @java libraries, showing usage examples in the docs, while making sure they're always valid and compile. #JEP413
