I’ve been very critical of Pakistan in the past.

However, its foreign policy moves over the last year have been thoroughly impressive.

If everything falls into place as it appears to be doing, Pakistan could emerge as a dominant force.

I hope this translates into benefits for its people, including improved infrastructure and a higher standard of living.
