Going through Prof @moddyyakubu Manifesto, I was so impressed and moved to see his vision on building resilient and strong Health care systems in Africa. He clearly highlighted the actions that member states will have to take in ensuring global health security and integration of one health approach.
He recognize the threat of #AntimicrobialResistance and the need for data to inform our practices and policies as well as good surveillance system. With 2030 just around the corner for our SDGs finish line, we need @moddyyakubu as a transformative leader for WHO Afro.

On March 17, 2025, I attended a joint meeting of the East African Community (EAC) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) in Harare, Zimbabwe, as the candidate for WHO AFRO Regional Director proposed by Tanzania. Together, we can build a healthier Africa by investing in our foundations, neutralizing future threats, harnessing our continent's potential, and transitioning from dependence to sovereignty.
