The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community led the attendees in prayer after the flag-hoisting ceremony, which symbolises the Islamic values of loyalty to faith and country.

A historic day for Punjab’s Majha region. 🛤️

After a long wait of nearly 100 years, the Modi Government has revived the Qadian–Beas Rail Project. This new 39.68-kilometre railway line, being developed at a cost of ₹1,400 crore, will take the Majha region’s economy, religious tourism, and regional development to new heights.

I express my heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji, and Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji for their vision and commitment, which have made this important rail project for Punjab a reality.

A delegation from the Ahmadiyya community, Qadian (Gurdaspur), met me to present their demand for the revival of the Qadian–Beas rail link spanning 39.6 km. The meeting was coordinated by Shri Fateh Jung Bajwa, senior BJP leader from Punjab. The delegation was assured that the Railways would examine the proposal, and necessary steps would be taken soon.

A Call for Peace and Prayer
