My way too early tier list of the true contenders in the NBA for the upcoming season...
I wanted to keep this to 6 tiers with 5 teams in each tier, which allows for a clean look and easy viewing experience.
The East is so tough. There are legit 6 to 7 teams that I could see coming out of it (from the Knicks down to the Celtics).
It feels disrespectful putting the Celtics, if this is how I were to seed them, as a play-in team, but that's the way it goes when you trade a top 15 player. Their roster is uninspiring, to say the least.
Miami may be too high, but I am really high on a Wiggins + Antetokounmpo + Adebayo defensive front court (not to mention Davion Mitchell).
The West is not up for the taking, it's a two team race between the Spurs and Thunder, which I have the Thunder as the favorites, for now.
What would you change? Let me know...
Really excited to see Luka have his own team this year with the Lakers. He is 1 of 1.
His change of speed, direction changing ability, and pace mixed in with the gravity he provides on the court is unmatched.
The Lakers got a good one and could be a sneaky team to come out of the west this season.
Throwback to Damian Lillardโs insane game winner vs OKC in the 2019 playoffs.
Nobody expected Portland to win this series. They were the underdogs.
But Damian Lillard outdawged the Thunder.
One of the best shooters and purest strokes the game has ever seen.
So excited to see him healthy next season.
