tis the season for spotting CORSTORPHINE SYCAMORES!
they flush early, a lovely yellow shade, the colour of Golden Delicious apples. after a few weeks the leaves mature to a normal green colour and they are indistinguishable from the species type

@ruthsylvatica I didn't know that ๐ I saw a Sycamore today at Meadowspot, apple green and out early and thought it was unusual. Will have to check it out on the next daily walk.
