As much as people get shit on for having trash def stats in T8, playing someone with 95+ def is the most tedious and boring experience. Most of them aren’t even good players. They just stand still the entire fight, zero movement, trash combos and only press when they can punish🥱

@warper2509 Final fantasy. I massively prefer the gritty feel of Ff games over the cartoony more jolly nature of dragon quest. That being said I’ve only played 2 dragon quest games and I had fun when I played them.

@sanity669 @TommyKairaTK I’d take this over unseeable completely preemptive guessing in sf. Studying the game and training should have a payoff. If you use throws well in tekken you can make good players miss the break. I use maybe 1 throw a fight and it almost always lands for that reason.

@NEHWind The story is the same. The discourse surrounding these games is so disingenuous. They have changed certain aspects yes and made the “filler” content different but the main plot is the exact same minus the ghost things (which are actually pretty cringe)
