رجیم چینج کی رات عمران خان کے الفاظ تھے، ”اللہ الحق ہے۔ سچ کا خدا ہے”۔
ارشد شریف نے کہا، ”عمران خان نے بہت بڑا کام کیا۔ سب کو ایکسپوز کردیا“۔
گذشتہ مدت میں بہت بار سُنا میں نے، ”مراد سعید کے لڑکے“، ”مُراد سعید کے لڑکوں نے عمران خان کو بیچ دیا“، ”ُمراد سعید کے لڑکوں نے عمران خان سے غداری کی“۔ اللہ گواہ ہے مراد سعید کی کوئی ٹیم نہیں۔ مراد سعید خود محض عمران خان کی مرہون منت ہے۔ پھر بھی مجھے فخر ہے کہ “مراد سعید کے لڑکوں نے“ اپنے لیڈر عمران خان کی طرح حکومت قربان کردی اپنی قوم کا سودا نہیں کیا۔ عمران خان سے ملاقات کے بدلے پختونوں کے خون کی بلی مانگنے والے ہوس پرست درندوں کے سامنے سرینڈر نہیں کیا۔ جس طرح عمران خان نے رجیم چینج کی رات ہر نام نہاد محب وطن، ہر زبان و کلام کے جمہوری، ہر دکھاوے کے وطن پرست کے چہرے سے نقاب نوچا تھا آج اُس کی ٹیم نے بھی ان غاصبوں کو مجبور کردیا کہ اپنے گھناؤنے منصوبوں کے ساتھ کھل کر سامنے آئیں اور قوم کے سامنے اپنے لفظوں میں اقرار کریں کہ عمران خان کے نام پر بنی حکومت۔ اس کے منتخب کردہ وزیر اعلی کا جرم اپنے لوگوں کی زندگیوں کو اقتدار پر مقدم رکھنا تھا۔ قوم اپنے غداروں کے چہرے دیکھ اور جان چکی ہے۔
مجھے ہمیشہ سے اس بات کا یقین رہا ہے کہ عمران خان کی زندگی کی ضمانت، اس امر میں پوشیدہ ہے کہ ہم عمران خان کے نظریے کو اس طرح رپلیکیٹ کریں کہ یہ گمان ذائل ہوجائے کہ عمران خان کو قید رکھ کر، اسے دنیا سے کاٹ کر اس جدوجہد کو روکا جاسکتا ہے۔ آج ہم نے ثابت کردیا ہے کہ سلاخوں کے پیچھے سے بھی عمران خان اپنی قوم کا سودا کرنے سے انکاری ہے۔ کہ عمران خان کی خاموشی بھی ان درندوں کی سب چھنگاڑوں پر بھاری ہے۔ کہ عمران خان ایک نسل کو عمران خان بنا چکا ہے۔

یہ ظلم کی انتہا ہے کہ عمران خان صاحب کے بہنوئی احد خان، جو شاید کبھی میڈیا پر نہیں آئے اور نہ ہی عدالتوں میں نظر آئے، آج انہیں بھی عدالتوں کے چکر لگانے پڑ رہے ہیں۔
احد خان کا کہنا تھا کہ عمران خان بھی غیر قانونی طور پر جیل میں قید ہیں، جو لوگ یہ سب کر رہے ہیں وہ اپنی آخرت برباد کر رہے ہیں۔ اللہ نے ججز کو قوم کی اصلاح کا موقع دیا تھا، مگر وہ غلط راستے پر چل پڑے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عمران خان اور ان کی بہنوں کو آپ ہرا نہیں سکتے۔

پارٹی میں مزید یہ نہیں چلے گا کہ کچھ لوگ جیلوں میں ہوں، کچھ ہر روز ایف آئی آرز اور نااہلیوں کا سامنا صرف خان صاحب سے وفاداری کی وجہ سے کر رہے ہوں، جبکہ کچھ لوگ نہ کارکنان کا بوجھ اٹھائیں اور نہ ہی خان صاحب کے نظریے کا بوجھ اٹھانے کے لیے تیار ہوں۔

سہیل آفریدی صاحب کی نااہلی کی واحد وجہ عمران خان صاحب سے وفاداری ہوگی۔ اب یہ سلسلہ ختم ہونا چاہیے۔ خان کے وفاداروں کے خلاف فیصلے آنے کے بعد سب کو اس سسٹم سے نکلنا ہوگا۔

کیا آپ نے کوئی پریس کانفرنس کی اس موضوع پر۔ کیا آپ نے کوئی ریفرنس فائیل کیا۔ کیا آپ نے کوئی اس پر کمیٹی بنائی۔ کیا آپ نے کوئی اجلاس بلایا۔

معذرت کے ساتھ اب جب آپ سے تقریباً سیدھا پوچھا گیا تو آپ کیا تاویل پیش کر رہے کہ عمران خان کے دو دشمن لڑ رہے ہیں۔ ہم لڑائی کے ساتھ ہیں۔

یہ بات پڑھ کر مجھے مایوسی بھی ہوئی ہے اور حیرت بھی۔

There is little choice left for the people of Pakistan.

Either remain silent while their chosen leader is imprisoned. Whilst his family is detained, his party is suppressed and justice is denied - or come out peacefully and exercise their fundamental right to protest.

You can arrest families and threaten people with violence. But you cannot imprison 250 million Pakistanis or crush the will of a generation.

No regime is more powerful than its people. The world must watch as the people of Pakistan come together to demonstrate their plea for justice, even in the face of threats of violence.

“Never in the history of Pakistan has any political leader been subjected to the treatment that I am currently enduring. Nawaz Sharif committed corruption worth billions and was nevertheless granted every possible comfort in prison. In contrast, never before has the innocent and apolitical spouse of a political figure been imprisoned under such inhumane conditions as those imposed upon Bushra Bibi.

I am enduring the harshest prison term in the country’s history solely for the supremacy of the Constitution and in service of my nation. The level of oppression and authoritarianism is such that even the water I have for ablution is filthy and contaminated with dirt, unfit for any human being. Books sent to me by my family have been withheld for months. Access to television and newspapers has also been suspended. I have spent countless hours re-reading the same old books, but now even those are no longer available.

All my basic human rights have been violated. Even the minimum facilities accorded to ordinary prisoners under the law and the jail manual are denied to me. Despite repeated requests, I have not been allowed to speak to my children. Political meetings have also been restricted; I am only permitted to meet certain ‘choice individuals’, while all other interactions are barred.

I am waging a battle against a 78-year-old system, and my greatest success is that despite unprecedented oppression, the public stands firmly with me.

On February 8th (2024), the people expressed their trust in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf by voting for you even in the absence of an electoral symbol. After such a clear mandate, it is the moral and political responsibility of every party member to become the voice of the people. It will be nothing short of disgraceful and condemnable if PTI leaders waste time on internal conflicts at this critical juncture. Anyone found engaging in factionalism within the party will be expelled. I am fighting for the future of our generations, and every sacrifice I make is for that cause. To create rifts within the party at this time would be a direct betrayal of my mission and vision.

The so-called government formed through Form 47 has crippled the judiciary through the 26th Constitutional Amendment. The way biased judges are now delivering blatantly unjust verdicts under these courts is visible to the entire nation. We must launch a robust campaign to liberate the judiciary, for no nation can survive, let alone progress, without judicial independence.”

Today, my aunt, Aleema Khan, has been abducted by police in Lahore. Our family has been told nothing about where she has been taken. Her family and lawyers cannot reach her.

This is the behaviour of a fascist government - abducting people, terrorising families and trampling human rights, due process and the rule of law while pretending to stand for democracy.

First they imprisoned my father. Now they are coming after his family.

We demand immediate access to her for her family and lawyers, full disclosure of where she is being held, and her immediate release.

“Instead of going through the formality of introducing a 27th constitutional amendment through a sham parliament, it would be better to openly declare a monarchy, because what exists today is outright dictatorship, forcibly imposed on the country.

The very foundation of Pakistan was laid on La Ilaha Illallah (There is no god except Allah), a declaration that liberates mankind from all forms of slavery. Our country was freed from British rule through immense sacrifices to establish a nation where every citizen would enjoy personal liberties. But the situation is completely the opposite. A mafia seeks to keep the entire nation enslaved. I am willing to endure solitary confinement in a dark prison cell, but I will never accept slavery. And that is my message to everyone: it is better to choose imprisonment than to live in such bondage. What is the value of freedom if, outside these walls, we are not truly free? Iqbal’s Shaheen (eagle) soars high, it does not live in servitude.

I give this call to the entire nation, especially to the workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf: Launch a movement after Ashura against the tyrannical system that has gripped this country. For me, death would be better than accepting a system built on slavery.

Every attempt is being made to suppress my voice so that my message does not reach the people and no one dares to stand up against oppression. But I will resist tyranny until my very last breath. I have complete faith in my Creator that this shadow of injustice will soon be lifted from Pakistan.

There are four pillars integral to any democracy: the right to vote, the rule of law, moral integrity, and a free press. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has effectively dismantled all four:

1. The Right to Vote: A dictator has no need for public mandate; he governs through force. The illegitimate assemblies formed via Forms-47, and the subsequent distribution of reserved seats, have only reinforced the perception among the people that their votes hold no value.

2. The Rule of Law: The judiciary has been reduced to a subordinate department of the government. Courts are packed with handpicked judges, while independent judges have been silenced. This is a hallmark of martial law, not democracy.

3. Moral Fabric of Society: This amendment has buried all ethical values. Individuals who are not true representatives of the people now occupy seats in the assemblies. Horse-trading of assembly members continues with impunity, and even the judiciary operates under the thumb of this mafia.

4. Free Media: Under a dictatorship, the media is bound in chains. Freedom of expression has been entirely curbed. Independent journalists are being targeted, while the rest have been bought off.

Peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic and constitutional right. Yet, 26 of our MPAs were suspended for staging a protest in the Punjab Assembly. I commend Ahmad Bhachar and all PTI MPAs who had the courage to challenge these pharaohs. Until our 26 members are reinstated, our elected representatives should hold their own assembly outside. The Form-47-based assemblies do not represent the people, in any case.”
