LEC subpopulations were active either during reward approach, reward consumption, or departure from reward. This reward-based signal is orthogonal to the spatial coding of MEC, providing a potentially powerful means to represent events by factorizing them into distinct components

We wanted to recreate the feeling of immersiveness you get from VR goggles, but mouse vision is unique. They see a lot, including above and a bit behind their head. Using in silico and ex vivo tools, we designed a custom lens that provides a half-sphere view to each eye.
