Growth has shown me that emotional safety is the real love language. You can be honest, vulnerable, express needs and disappointments without being punished for it. Accountability is the backbone of emotional maturity. The ability to take accountability without being defensive is emotional maturity.

There’s a huge difference between;

“You’re right, I didn’t follow through. I’ll fix it.”
“I see how that impacted you. I’m sorry.”

Versus
“You’re overreacting.”
“I didn’t mean it, so it shouldn’t matter.”
“You’re too sensitive. Etc.

Not everyone is capable of emotional growth.
Some people want to be better but don’t have the skills yet. Others don’t have the capacity, the self-awareness, or the willingness and you will drown trying to teach them.

That Mehdi–Daniel Bwala interview was a spectacle of contradictions. Watching Bwala twist himself into knots was honestly painful & ridiculous. Once a fierce critic of Tinubu, now he can’t even stand on his own past words. The speed of the flip was wild. Getting a LOT of “love” from random numbers lately. Funny how the moment you pick up, they go mute.

For years, my rule has been simple:
If I don’t hear you speak first or introduce yourself, I’m not saying a word. Silence meets silence. Mute button or breathing exercise.

But today I learned something new, some of these calls aren’t just spam. They’re attempts to get a few seconds of your voice so they can clone it and use it to pose as you. Wild times we’re living in.
