I don't know everything about DUN Mahkota, and I don't believe I deserve to tell Johoreans how they should vote.
I'm just an ordinary member who wants to contribute one small thought especially for the younger generation.
Many people are exhausted by politics. Election apathy is real.
The question isn't "Who should I vote for?"
The real question is:
"Why should I even bother?"
My answer is simple.
Because local elections matter just as much as national politics.
THIS IS OUR MOMENT to show up and remind ourselves that the issues closest to home deserve our attention too especially for the families we leave behind after we return to work.
In the 2022 election, only 57.34% of registered voters came out to vote.
That means tens of thousands of voices were never heard.
Many of Mahkota's sons and daughters work in the Klang Valley or Singapore. We understand the sacrifice it takes to come home. It costs money. It takes time. It may even mean taking leave from work.
But ask yourself one question:
If we don't help decide Mahkota's future, who will?
This election is not only about political parties.
It is about whether our parents can receive better healthcare at local clinics.
It is about whether our children can find good jobs close to home instead of feeling forced to leave in search of opportunities elsewhere.
It is about better roads, better education, lower living costs, and a better quality of life for every family.
Your vote is more than a mark on a ballot paper.
It is your voice. Your dignity. Your responsibility. Your hope for the future.
Don't let someone else make the decision for you.
Talk to your parents.
Call your friends.
Encourage your neighbours.
If you are working outside Johor and you are able to return home, make the journey.
Bring one more person with you.
One conversation can inspire one vote.
One vote can inspire a community.
Let's show that Mahkota cares.
Let's prove that every vote matters.
Let's aim for an 85% voter turnout not because it guarantees any particular result, but because a stronger turnout means more people have had their voices heard.
At the end of the day, democracy is strongest when people participate.
Mahkota's future begins with its people.
On polling day, come home if you can. Come out. Vote. Because your voice matters.
Vote Abang Abd Hamid Bin Ali
N.29 MAHKOTA
Years from now, when our children ask what we did to shape the future of our hometown, may we be able to answer: "I showed up."

Bukanlah satu masalah integriti pun.
Benda boleh diasah dan Aidil pun masih muda, ada banyak masa untuk belajar, dan percayalah, satu hari nanti dia akan muncul sebagai calon yang bagus
Tunggu menang baru nak buat. 1 penggal genggam kuasa tak buat apa2. Nak mengundi nanti guna modal sama. Begitu la seterusnya. Politik sampah.

Mengapa #Bersama 💛 berbeza?
Kerana kami satu-satunya parti yang dedah & isytihar:
👉 Dana (kempen PRN) dari mana 🤔
👉 Berapa dah belanja untuk kempen PRN Johor 👌
👉 Untuk pengetahuan pengundi2 Johor & seluruh rakyat 🇲🇾
Inilah budaya baru politik Malaysia 💛🙋🏻♂️
Bukit Naning: The Future Belongs to Our Young Generation
Total Electors (2026): 23,001 registered voters
PRN Johor 2022 Results
Total Valid Votes: 14,256
Voter Turnout: 64.40%
Winning Majority: 1,535 votes
Did Not Vote: 8,744 voters
In a semi-rural and mixed constituency like Bukit Naning, young voters and young adults make up a significant portion of the electorate. They have the potential to become the true kingmakers in this election.
Unlike previous generations, many young voters value performance over politics. They are looking for leaders with credibility, integrity, and practical solutions to the challenges they face every day not merely a party logo.
Based on the previous election, most voters remain loyal to their traditional political parties. However, supporters of BERSATU and independent candidates represent a group that may still be open to new leadership and fresh ideas.
The Issues That Matter Most to Young People
Cost of living
Employment opportunities and fair wages
Affordable housing
Economic stability and a better future
These challenges are especially painful for young couples who are just beginning to build their families. The slow pace of economic growth and the widening gap between rural communities and rapidly developing urban areas have created feelings of uncertainty and frustration.
When Bersama Malaysia candidate Mr. Aidil speaks about the struggles of young people, his emotions are genuine. At times, he almost breaks down because he understands what many of them are going through.
From my own experience visiting rubber estates in Sabah and FELDA settlements in Kota Tinggi, I have met many young people who are full of dreams and ambition. They are inspired by what they see on social media and want to build a better life.
But many remain trapped not because they lack ability, but because opportunities are limited. They learn to be content with very little, yet they cannot ignore a world that continues to move forward without them. Over time, some begin to feel small, left behind, or even ashamed that they cannot keep up.
When hope disappears and the wrong influences enter their lives, many become vulnerable to drugs, crime, and other destructive paths. It is heartbreaking to see young people carrying dreams in a young body but already feeling as though they have an old, defeated soul.
This is why Mr. Aidil's message is different.
He wants every young person in Bukit Naning to believe that they matter. To never feel small. To never feel left behind. To never believe that their future has already been decided.
Mr. Aidil himself is a young leader with many years ahead of him. He wants to become living proof that the younger generation can rise, lead, and create change. We can be a generation that is bold enough to challenge the old way of doing politics, yet wise enough to navigate the increasingly complex challenges of modern life.
Perhaps in these remaining ten days, we cannot convince everyone.
But when even one young person decides to believe in themselves again, decides to dream again, and decides to stand up for their future...
Nothing can stop them.
