In a mountain valley, two neighboring villages shared a single, flowing river. For generations, the fishermen of the northern village and the southern village fished peacefully, each taking only what they needed.
High in the mountains above them lived a wealthy land baron who wanted to buy all the valley's territory for cheap to build a massive resort. Knowing the proud villagers would never sell their ancestral lands voluntarily, he hatched a plan to make them destroy themselves.
Late one night, the baron sent his men to build a temporary timber dam high up the river, severely restricting the water flow. He then sent a messenger to the northern village, whispering, "The southern village has blocked the river upstream to starve your people and hoard all the fish."
Simultaneously, another messenger rode to the southern village: "The northern village is draining the river dry with massive nets, leaving your children with nothing."
Blinded by sudden fear and outrage, neither village bothered to send scouts up the mountain to check the river's source. Instead, full-scale warfare erupted. The northern fishermen marched south to destroy the neighbor’s boats; the southern villagers retaliated by burning the northern docks. For weeks, they fought viciously, destroying each other’s nets, burning homes, and poisoning the remaining ponds.
By the end of the season, both villages were thoroughly ruined, their resources depleted, and their young men wounded or lost. Broke, desperate, and starving, both sides finally agreed to sell their lands to the wealthy baron for pennies on the dollar just to survive.
Only after the deeds were signed did the baron’s workers dismantle the mountain dam, letting the water flow freely once more into a valley he now completely owned.
Both villages believed they were fighting to protect their livelihoods from an aggressive neighbor. In reality, they were destroying each other on behalf of a third party who engineered their panic and collected the reward. When anger is fueled by sudden suspicion, the most important question is never "How do I beat my rival?" but rather "Who choked the river in the first place?"
When you wake up every morning, during BENEDICTION,
— say the following 5 sentences:
• Today, I choose to be positive.
• I am grateful for all that I have.
• I am capable of achieving great things.
• I embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
• I take action towards my goals every day.
Say these words each morning, repeatedly, every day, for the rest of the year, and see how your life will transform for the better.
There is power in the words you speak about yourself.
Write these words on a paper and pin the paper on your bedroom wall so that as you go to bed, you see them, and when you wake up, you still see them.

This idea that I should be worried about getting a visa to America simply because I have an opinion is actually part of the problem we need to address as Africans. For the longest time, we have been made to believe that criticizing these so called “first world countries” might cost us an opportunity to visit them, and sadly, that fear has kept so many people silent.
I have always believed that these visa restrictions exist by design. You make people so desperate for access to your country that they become afraid to question you, while making millions from visa applications that don’t even guarantee entry. Meanwhile, we are busy welcoming citizens of these same countries into our nations, some without even requiring a visa.
I think we have spent far too long giving these countries power over us, including the power to determine what we can and cannot say about them , yet they say the worst about us.Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but the winds of change will blow across Africa.
We will make Africa Great Again!!And I genuinely hope we get to a point where no African feels the need to silence themselves just to qualify for a visa.
Next time someone says a woman’s past doesn’t matter, show them this video.
She once dated a lavish spender who spoiled her and raised her standards, even though she had no real source of income of her own. Now she struggles in her subsequent relationships because she keeps searching for that same ‘Mr. Lavish Spender’ in every new partner. Peak delusion!
The pastor’s action at the end of the video says it all!
If Peter Kaluma had a chance to hire goons to beat up Maliba Arnold, trust me he would have done so! He looked so agitated after he was told the truth to his face.
You can't make this things up aki!
"Kibaki aliongeza madeni ya Kenya 3 times, Huyu Uhuru akaongeza Madeni YA Kenya 5 times, Mimi in 5 years nimeongeza Madeni ya Kenya 25 times, akili bana".
