Marking #Amaravati, Oct 2025:
~1 lakh population
4 universities in region
0 Deep-Tech/R&D/startups/organizations

Will be revisiting in Oct 2029, let’s see how this ecosystem is built.
"Just everything in Amaravati". I replied to that and I hoped you'd stay on topic but now you're on land dealings. This could go on forever but to answer you:
Didn't everyone know that just after the bifurcation that capital would be near vijayawada. Wasn't it an obvious choice? (It was also proved by the committee when it got max no. of votes for people's choice).
Wasn't Amaravati one of the 3 capitals mentioned even during 19-24 but still stopped all the works, called it judicial capital should've continued at least the judges housing and high court, he'd have won elections again in 2024. Just to be clear the area was earmarked as VGTM UDA long back and it's just getting its development now, it was inevitable in a way.
2 labs are not enough for a country like India, we need more labs, more gpus, more research/infra engineers, more collaborations, more risk takers, more capital, more respect, more leaders who are believers, more courage, more voices
India’s new identity: Science & Technology.
AI/IT in Visakhapatnam.
Quantum in Amaravati.
Space Tech in Tirupati.
This is what happens when visionary leadership clears the path for greatness. We aren’t just dreaming of the future; we are building it.

The "City of Destiny" has become the "City of Opportunity"
For the handles losing sleep over Amaravati - This land was designated for growth long before it became the official capital. Yes, development was weaponized and halted previously, but it's just getting its long overdue development now and no amount of online tears can stop it!
Amaravati isn’t a new name for the APCRDA region - it is history coming full circle!
Back on Sept 29, 1980, the AP government issued G.O. MS 647 for the Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali-Mangalagiri area. They named it the "Amaravati Seema Urban Development Authority" (ASUDA) and made G.S. "Siris" Raju its first Chairman.
Even though the next government changed the name to VGTM UDA, this land was proudly called "Amaravati" decades before it became the official capital!

Why is Amaravati special?
Andhra Pradesh is not just building another city; We are bringing the best of the world to Andhra Pradesh. It is a dream being built by the world's greatest experts.
Master Planning: Surbana Jurong (Singapore)
• The layout for the 217 sq km city was designed by Surbana Jurong.
• These are the people who planned Singapore and turned it from a small island into a global giant. They have planned over 100 industrial parks worldwide.
• In Amaravati, they have designed a "smart city" where everything from roads to parks is perfectly placed.
Govt. Complex & Iconic Buildings: Foster + Partners (UK)
• Government buildings, like the Assembly and High Court & Secretariat & HOD complex, are designed by Foster + Partners. These are the same architects who built:
Apple Park (Apple’s famous circular HQ in California)
The Gherkin (The famous glass tower in London)
The Reichstag (The German Parliament building) They are bringing that same world-class beauty and future-tech to our capital.
Flood Safety: Arcadis (Netherlands)
• Because Amaravati is near the Krishna River, we needed the best water experts.
• Arcadis comes from the Netherlands - a country that is world-famous for managing water because most of their land is below sea level.
• They designed a system of canals and reservoirs to make sure Amaravati stays safe and dry, even during heavy rains.
Finance & Strategy: Knight Frank & PwC
• To make the city economically strong, global giants were brought in:
• Knight Frank (UK): Handling the financial planning and real estate strategy to ensure Amaravati becomes a wealth-generator for the state.
• PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers): Appointed by APCRDA to draft the financing and sustainability plans, ensuring we use global best practices for funding.
On top of all this global expertise lies the grit of one man: N. Chandrababu Naidu @ncbn. Most leaders would have rested on their laurels after building Cyberabad (HITEC City), which literally put India on the global IT map. But despite the state division hitting AP hard and the unfortunate 5-year hiatus that stalled progress, he is back, brought statutory capital status to Amaravati, to build a future for the next generation of Telugus.
The new #Amaravati High Court Complex a landmark judicial campus with monumental architecture and a central domed hall will stand as one of India’s most advanced judicial infrastructures. Spread across 33+ acres with state-of-the-art court halls, judges’ chambers and galleries.
