A Simple Way to Understand Where “Global Beauty” Perception Comes From

If you really want to understand why some countries are labeled as having the most beautiful women or the most handsome men, you don’t need to travel the world, just read this.

Look at the map.

Closer to the equator → generally darker skin

Farther from the equator → generally lighter skin

Now watch how this plays out in real life, people start getting more attractive in appearance as per society standards as we start going up in the map.

Andhra Pradesh → Chandigarh → Punjab → Himachal → Kashmir → Kazakhstan → Russia → Ukraine → Sweden → Norway

As you move upward, you’ll generally notice:

- Skin tones getting lighter

- Eye colors becoming more varied, blue, green, grey

- Facial features evolving differently over generations

The same pattern globally:

India → Pakistan → Central Asia → Russia → Eastern Europe → Scandinavia

Or:

Brazil → Spain → France → Germany → Netherlands → Sweden

Why this happens

It’s all about sunlight and long-term adaptation.

Closer to the equator, stronger UV → more melanin → darker skin
Farther away, weaker UV → lighter skin and different traits over time

Now the part people don’t say out loud

Because of global media, rarity, and exposure, these northern features often get labeled as “more attractive” by the world.

So when people say:

“Country X has the most beautiful women”

“Country Y has the most handsome men”

They are often reacting to:

- Rarity

- Contrast

- Conditioning

This simple equator-based pattern explains why certain regions get tagged as “most attractive” globally.

But remember, it’s a perception pattern, not an absolute truth.

Every region has its own kind of beauty, this just explains why the world leans a certain way.

🇺🇸🇮🇶 BREAKING | The United States has reportedly suspended all funding and security coordination with the Iraqi government and has halted dollar shipments to Iraq's central banking system, according to Saudi channel Al-Hadath.

Washington says the suspension will remain in effect until a new Iraqi government is formed and Baghdad provides information on pro-Iranian militia members who have attacked U.S. targets in Iraq.

Iraq's economy is 90% dependent on oil revenue paid in dollars into a Federal Reserve account in New York. Every month, Baghdad flies in $1-2 billion in cash from that account to pay salaries and conduct government functions. Cutting dollar access means the Iraqi government cannot operate—salaries go unpaid, the dinar collapses, and the state grinds to a halt.

Iraq is currently forming a new government after November 2025 elections. The U.S. threatened in January to suspend engagement if any of 58 pro-Iranian MPs were included in the cabinet. Now Trump is enforcing that ultimatum while Iraq remains paralyzed between Washington and Tehran.

Washington invaded Iraq, destroyed its economy, controls its oil revenue through the New York Fed, and is now starving the government until it picks a cabinet the White House approves.

This is Ustadh Shafiq Zaman from Pakistan. For as long as he could remember, he had one wish — to be able to paint even one panel on the walls of Masjid an-Nabawi. In 1990, he entered a competition in the Hijaz to restore 133-year-old calligraphy on the old structure of the mosque and create new designs for new structures added to the building.
He won the competition and has been working in Masjid al-Nabawi for the last 30 years. He is the blessed man whose calligraphy is used on the blessed rawda of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. This is a matter of pride and happiness for those of us who descend from the Subcontinent. May Allah bless him immensely.
