I believe it’s important to teach our children to value educators and this morning, Elijah said he wanted to write ALL his teachers a “thank you email”. He saw some of my students email and it reminded him to be thankful.

Thanks to Ms. Romo (Mya’s pre-k teacher) and Ms. Hope (Elijah’s 2nd grade teacher), my kids have continued their learning successfully. Elijah’s loving google classroom and Mya’s enjoying all the videos on the alphabet :). I could not be anymore grateful!

Distance learning has been an experience. I honestly felt scared when they sent us home knowing I would now also have to take on my kids lessons while working from home. But the teachers have made all the difference!

I had a meeting for my 2nd period with only 12 kids in it BUT it was incredibly rewarding. We discussed grade issues and then the students asked to hang around to chat. We all talked for about 10 minutes and they were all joking around. Made me smile.
