over the past month we worked with @newitemco, one of our first customers, to figure out the impact
> 45.6% lower agent cost
> 2 vs ~7 days to migrate models
> 25.1% more customer volume
they use TCC when they ship all their agent changes now :)
We spend a ridiculous amount of time on calls with customers, but this week we wanted to change that and meet some of them out in the wild...
So for four days, we’re putting an item coffee cart in different parts of SF...
Today is day two...
If you see us around the city this week, come say hi. Coffee is on us.
Catch us if you can.
We're giving away free coffee all week, you just have to find us.
Tuesday @ Kezar Stadium
Wednesday @ Panhandle
Thursday @ Marina
Friday @ Lafayette Park
From powering @newitemco’s back office to co-hosting startup events, Slash gives their team the cards, accounting, and hands-on support to keep moving at startup speed.*
Hear why @newitemco chooses to run their finances on Slash:
a huge reason we use @newitemco is because of their 10/10 MCP (and also their awesome team - s/o @akguthal). it's the same story for @meetgranola and @linear.
a year ago, fair. MCP was iffy. auth was duct tape and barely any clients supported it. since then the spec grew up and every major AI client adopted it.
now it's part of my daily (let's be honest, minute-to-minute) workflow.
now's the time to build that mcp you've had in your backlog for months!!
I spend an embarrassing amount of my day in Slack, which is funny when you’re building an agentic CRM.
But that’s where so much of the real work begins. Someone asks what we know about a prospect... notices that a customer just signed up... or remembers that a deal needs an update... then someone leaves the conversation, opens item, does the work, and comes back...
Office visit day 25
we spent the afternoon at item's office and made them test their luck.
@newitemco is the first agentic CRM, giving sales and revenue teams agents that do their work for them.
SF founders, who should we visit next? come try your luck.
In not so shocking news, SF founders are built to rally.
We had an incredible time hosting with @newitemco for Battle of the Startups Pickleball Edition!
Cheers to more battles soon 🤝
