@prempanicker The cause is just, just like an insta reel. The need is change the system. Meritocracy should be the aim. Here many are complaining about the process. What needs to change is system itself. No more clerks.
Actually 2009 to 14 was one of the best innings played by a country in the history of the world if not the very best.
The after math of the global financial crisis was a disaster on the world. Large amounts of liquidity spiked up inflation across the world specially in food.
India emerged the best out of any country, in the world from the gfc.
I challenge you to show me one country that handled the after math better: it is the equivalent of getting 75 runs on a pitch when the rest of the team did not even enter double digits.
There is no perfect economic policy and a lot of things in hind sight look very very simple. When infrastructure growth was required at large scale, private sector jumped in with unviable Business models and of course bad payment records of Government companies and agencies which continues till date by the way.
But that's a different discussion
The fact of the matter is that the performance of our country in the most difficult batting pitch experienced in the prior 80 years since the Great depression, was the hallmark of a great economy.
No wonder that all major Global leaders made up bee line at every single opportunity to speak to our leader then on how best to get out of this mess that the world was in after 2008.
India’s economy under Modi led BJP has gone worse from ‘fragile five’ to ‘vulnerable one’. No economy today is as vulnerable to growth, inflation, investment, exports, fiscal deficit shocks as India. Unhappy days ahead. Modi deforms have cost India badly. https://t.co/3sB1OwQLDu
@theliverdoc@protagonist_xig I can attest. The education in IGCSE is different. Besides their history of course. But the quality of education is different. I know a close beneficiary of that. The skills be it writing or in research is different. The NEP has the potential but the politics is bringing it down.
The problem with Rahul Gandhi’s stand is: the guys he is accusing are big guys. The same guys who might help Congress when the wind changes. We don’t have a pool of billionaires who made their money solely on their own. They had government support in someway or other
While India has witnessed scams before - never have we seen an entire generation of youngsters being robbed off their future in such a systematic manner.
OSM fiasco is not an accident or oversight- this is cold blooded murder of young India. If you still think this is about politics and defending a party - then you have blood on your hands as well.
An investigative reporting which should've been done by a mainstream media house was done by a 17 year old boy. Our godi media is busy protecting the people in power.
"A Norwegian Jorunalist asked a question to the PM but he didn't reply, maybe she didn't know the Govt is deaf
She claims that our Media is not free, ofcourse it is free, free enough to spread fake news like capturing Lahore, arresting Munir & burying the real problems of people'
When MMS PMO took over CWG during Suresh Kalmadi time, there was relief. It was an intl event. Now Modi PMO looking over #NTA is administration failure. How corrupt is the system now?
Even by the standards of a country ranking 157 of 180 nations in the World Press Freedom Index, the reaction of the authorities to the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ is beyond extraordinary. The public response to that imaginative prank should have signalled to them a deep discontent, even distress, among young people. Instead, as The Indian Express reported, it was framed as jeopardising the country’s ‘national security’ and ‘posing a threat to the sovereignty of India.’ Decades ago, the Malaysian lawyer and poet Cecil Rajendra wrote this brilliant poem that captures the idiocy of it better than any pompous editorialising could (not that our ‘mainstream’ media would dare do even that much).
