Chinar Trees & Other Specified Trees are being Axed in large number in last few years- These trees could have been saved had J&K Govt enacted Tree Transplantation Act - It was heartwrenching to see a Chinar tree cut down in Ganapora Kralgund -Handwara yesterday- Today in Pulwama and Lalbazar Srinagar Chinar Trees were lopped massively- Will Govt act against the Officers or i will again have to move to NGT ?

Some months back a demolition drive was done in Sonpah Beerwah for setting up a Craft Village ? When locals sought information under RTI asking for Demolition Order , the reply said No order has been passed ? Ye Kya Zulum Hai ?
Why deprive people of livelihood? There were shops of people and houses for last many decades ? When 4 lane Road will be constructed through Sonpah this Craft Center will also be demolished , may be after 3 to 4 years. What kind of Policy is this ? I request authorities to inquire into it

Amir's Uncle is battling with Cancer in SKIMS. The kind of treatment he gets is not an issue , but the stench that emits from Mountains of Garbage is a matter of concern. Amir has pended down his experience. I myself have taken up this case in National Green Tribunal -NGT and i have explained that part of it.
The NGT imposed Rs 12 Crore Environmental Compensation on SMC & Commissioner told the Tribunal last year that in 2 years all the 11.50 Lakh Metric Tons of Legacy Waste will be cleared, but when he was asked to give this in writing supported by an Affidavit , the officer got himself Transferred to Food & Civil Supplies Department ?
I don't blame the Commissioner , what could he do in 2 years ? This is clear case of Mismanagement & Mis-Governance and all the Successive Govt's are responsible for this ? Our Leaders had No Vision for Srinagar's sustainable development 30 to 40 years back and now we are suffering because of their wrongdoings ? It is still Not too Late , Please wake up and raise your Voice.
Srinagar MP @RuhullahMehdi must speak out on this burning issue. In coming months the situation would be horrible. @MirwaizKashmir must also raise his Voice from Jamia Masjid Pulpit. All Political Leaders from Kashmir must speak in One Voice Now on Achan- Enough is Enough
