@pcnerd37@Deloitte@DeloitteUS Good luck with them. I have applied with them a ton throughout my career and never made progress. Probably for the best though.
Had an interview like this once, weirdest interview I had. We just had a normal conversation. One of the only interviews I really enjoyed. I got the job from that conversation vs being stressed on "Did I answer to their liking?"
@IceSolst Yup. And in interviews, I always ask folks about what they like to do when they aren't working. It gives them an opportunity to talk about something that gets them excited and that they know well. I don't care if it's tech. It helps me understand who they are.
@pcnerd37 The dumbest one was because the power company messed up inputed data on their side and flagging my account as fraud. I was paying bills on time etc. they wanted me to go to their office an hour away during working hours or it would be shut off. Couldn't afford to take time off.
@pcnerd37 Sometimes you have to. I always try to be nice at first to accomplish what needs to happen. The person on the other side is indeed there just for a paycheck. But I have went off before.
@pcnerd37 The current ai summary rarely helps me now vs just getting in my way. I want links to sources not a summary. If I want a summary I'll ask chatgpt.
