High Court of #Uganda has enforced a contract executed via #WhatsApp buttressing the legal position that a cellphone falls within the legal definition of a "computer", and thus a WhatsApp generated text is recognizable evidence under the Ugandan Electronic Transactions Act, 2011.
It has been a great opportunity serving on the Uganda Bankers' Association Fraud and forgeries committee where we have come up with various measures of fighting financial fraud and cybercrime.
