3 of the coolest new plays EA added into Madden 24:

1. Gun Bunch Strong Nasty - Mesh Spot
Pbs: DEN, IND, KC, PHI, PITT, SEA, TB, WASH

Insanely good quick snap Zone beater. It can do ~decent~ vs man coverage. Only adjustment I like is to Fade the Point/Middle WR (currently on a Snag route).

The double drags are actually coded to correctly sit vs Zone Coverage (unlike slants), and continue running their drag vs Man Coverage which is actually pretty nice in game. You can tell this by looking @ their playart in the picture below

2. Pistol Full House Close - Triple Option
Pbs: JAX

This is the type of play that I'll always love. Isn't very "comp", but is a ton of fun to use. Symmetrical formation allows you to run the Triple Option to either direction, and it actually works pretty well. The other plays in the formation aren't too bad either.

If you're a Wing T, FullHouse T, Flexbone, or a Veer type of guy, this is one of the closest things you'll get in Madden 24. (If this is cool to you, check out the Pistol Full House inside of the "Pistol" playbook as well). This is what Paul Johnson would run if he played Madden.

3. Gun Deuce Close - PA Post Cross
Pbs: KC, MIA, WASH

This is actually one of the more practical additions they made to playbooks this year. Constantly, there's formations in the game that are cool, but pretty limited due to the stock routes.

Gun Deuce Close has ALWAYS been one of those formations, but this play finally adds a stock Deep Post, which can be used for bombing both Zone & Man Coverage. This makes Gun Deuce Close a much more viable formation for people who want to run 2TE Shotgun Sets
