Here we see two sons of the same soil. One of us wears the Cross. One still hears the thunder. Although at times we’ve been at each other’s throats, it is imperative to understand that we are not enemies and we never were.

History shows that the same blood that knelt in a stone chapel also stood in the grove, and the same hands that carved runes later raised cathedrals.

When the Northmen took the faith, they did not become a different people, rather the same people with a new name for the highest God.

History is full of this handshake. Rollo the Viking became Robert of Normandy and still ruled as a Northman.
