A core tenet of value based health care. Any model that forces doctors to accept a payment such as the health care homes is doomed to fail under s. 51(xxiiiA) of the constitution.

@nursehelms The only thing the AMA understands is protecting the economic interests of its members. It is literally in their constitution. This is nothing more than age old misogyny, the male dominated profession putting its foot down on the female dominated profession.

I’m so sick of being angry, disappointed, tired, undervalued, insulted, ignored. Why do we never hear about our value? Our contributions? Consumers value us, but we are let down by government and health depts. I won’t give up the fight, ever, but am considering giving up nursing.
