FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 53 YEARS, THE KNICKS ARE NBA CHAMPIONS 🏆
New York defeats San Antonio 4-1 in the NBA Finals, capturing their third championship in franchise history!
This new 5 for 5 rule should prompt all athletes to ACCEPT and be THANKFUL for any D2- D3 program to be interested in me as a player.
If you’re as good as you say you are, then going all conference and breaking records at the D2 - D3 school should be obtainable. Which will then put you position to hit the portal with some film and leverage!
Most high school football athletes won’t make it to college nowadays simply bc of their mindset. Expecting to come in as a starter as a true freshman, then get mad when things don’t go your way.
Gotta be real with yourself fellas! Do I need a year of development, to get bigger, stronger or faster? In most cases the answer is yes!
Non-conference records against Power 4 teams
SEC 10-2
Big 12 5-7
ACC 6-10
Big Ten 4-10
Mountain West 1-7
American 1-11
MAC 1-16
CUSA 0-9
Pac-12 0-12
Sun Belt 0-15
NEWS: A Florida judge has granted an injunction to Denzel Aberdeen, making him (currently) eligible to play for the Gators this season, per @nwblackmon
@dannykanell It’s outstanding for insecure ACC boys. This bum beating his chest knowing he doesn’t have a single opponent in the conference that can give them a game.
LeBron James planned on joining the Knicks but didn’t due to expected backlash after they won the Finals
"I had visions of playing in Madison Square Garden and finishing my career in the Garden. One of the best places I've ever played. I think it's the No. 1 arena in the world, as far as for a basketball player. But after they beat San Antonio, I was like, 'Hey, I can't.' I couldn't do it. Y'all wouldn't have let me lay that down, at all. But much respect to the Knicks, obviously. An unbelievable team, unbelievable players. Shout out Jalen Brunson. I love that guy, he's unbelievable. But, yeah, I'm happy where I'm at and I'm looking forward to it."

Thoughts on the Gators:
* Wow. No words. Ok, that’s a lie. I’ve got plenty of words. But, wow.
* To be clear, this wasn’t about Ole Miss having an emotional letdown. Ole Miss is good. And was ready. They were hyped. Chambliss is very good and played well.
This was simply one very good SEC team taking another very good team to the woodshed. I mean … to. the. woodshed.
* The more physical team usually wins. You realize how physical you gotta be to rush for 300 yards?
* The offensive coaching is ridiculously good. The play-calling was superb, per usual. But it’s way more than that.
The precision with how those plays are executed. The timing of motion, snap and handoff on jet sweeps. Guys always knowing who to block. So few missed assignments.
And the development of the offensive line. And all of the tight ends. And the depth of wide receivers when starters keep getting hurt.
And the development of a backup running back. All really good stuff.
And of course, there is that play-calling. The timing of what to call and when. Amazing.
* I don’t think UF will be a great pass-rushing team. But Jayden Woods’ strip sack was the biggest play of the game. Provided separation in what was becoming a shootout. Ole Miss was playing uphill the rest of the way.
* The linebackers can run. Graham, Chiles and Jaden Robinson rotating at two spots. Chiles looks leaner and quicker.
* Special teams. Long kickoff returns. Make every field goal. Cover everything. The only punt went 12 miles and out of bounds at the one.
* Florida will be the talk of college football this week. The national shows, all the talking heads. They now will be regarded as one of the elite teams. Amazing how fast that happened.
Which is the latest challenge for Sumrall. After today, just like that, the Gators have become the hunted. Have to manage heightened expectations.
* Worried about the injury to VB III. The Gators are very deep at WR, but that dude is special - so good on the field, but in many ways the emotional heart and soul of the team.
Meanwhile, Bailey Stockton is one tough cat.
* Baugh is so freaking good. So is Duke Clark. What a tandem.
* Philo was good. Missed a few throws. Arm talent is good, not great. Underthrew a few long ones. But really knows how to run that offense. Love watching him play.
* Last thing. … I’m glad Lane Kiffin didn’t want the job.
* One more last thing …
My school has Jon Sumrall AND Todd Golden. That is all.
Cheers.
