@ZtozM She’s also criticizing neighborhood measures against ex-cons back in Feb. No ex-con was seriously harmed but many night watchmen were murdered & building were put on fire. I still remember the terror of that period and of only able to fall asleep when the day breaks.

I've been thinking a lot about how people talk about Tatmadaw soldiers, and I think the way people refer to them saying လူစိတ်မရှိ့ ‌and calling them စစ်ခွေး 1) perpetuate the cycles of violence in Myanmar and 2) actively undermine the success of the anti-coup movement.

Just re-read Burma Chronicles by Guy Delisle and realized a new perspective. If TOTAL leaves, China will gladly step in and they will leave everything in a worse shape.

skeptical. Myanmar is complex, n we haven’t even brought up the issues in Shan state.
We can’t solve all issues at once. We get on the right path n just got to keep working on them.
One thing for sure, Myanmar, after we rid of Tatmadaw, will be very different in shape & spirit.
