Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico's viral hospital rumor has been debunked by time-stamped security footage reviewed by The New York Times — but the bigger story may be why his campaign sat on the evidence while the conspiracy theory exploded across social media for days.
Talarico disappeared from the campaign trail for nine days in early October, fueling rampant speculation that he had secretly traveled to an Ohio behavioral health center. His campaign maintained he was home with the flu, and security camera images from his Austin home now back that up. But GOP strategists and journalists are torching the campaign's response as "mind-numbing malpractice" for not releasing the footage sooner.
With Election Day just weeks away in one of the biggest Senate races in the country, the question has shifted from where Talarico was to why his team let the narrative spiral unchecked when they had the receipts the entire time.

Trump tells the UN he is officially changing the name of Artificial Intelligence to "Super Intelligence" and says all US government documents will now be changed to refer to "SI"
Can someone please explain exactly how the phrase 'Free Palestine' is antisemitic? Honestly trying to understand the reasoning behind this perspective.
Trump, and his administration, are the epitome of projection. He called Joe Biden “Sleepy Joe” and called him old, yet we see he’s worse. He called past administrations the “worst ever” when facts show he’s likely that. He says the Democrats rig elections… need I say more?
In one revelation in ‘Musk,’ his ex and former conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, a central figure in the documentary, describes the events of Trump’s election in November 2024. Musk, she says, had a “degree of certainty” about the results before they came in that “I had never seen before.”
“He had told me [before the election] he was going to unleash the ‘anomaly in the matrix,’ ” she recounts, as a text exchange between them pops up onscreen backing up the claim. We see Musk telling her, “I have ten thousand lasers in space.”
“So you think he was referring to Starlink?” 'Musk' director Alex Gibney asks off-camera. St. Clair replies, “I mean, I don’t know where else he has space lasers.”

maga optics are genuinely hilarious objectively. imagine if any other country kept posting pictures of their leader captioned like ‘the Alpha Lion hungers for blood’ and it’s some 90 year old guy hobbling around
@probablysaif Carl Jung the GOAT. I think it’s more insight focused though and how one must look deeper within and inspect their emotions and be true to them. Which I think of course is more “woman focused” by today’s standards.
