@bridaws1@Grimphilo@ZachWLambert The thing about true acceptance is that you accept the person as they are in the moment, but refuse to let them stay that way because the way they came is why they need Jesus. Jesus calls us to be greater than the sum of anything our flesh can give.
@JCochrane803 @LDNRom@yall_black@Asante_Jedi@ronrule@FromKulak@doodlestein You say black culture, when you probably mean poverty culture, which is perpetuated by systems built by both sides of the aisle. Black culture and the culture of Appalachian whites is are nearly identical, down to average income. You have no nuance and are racist.
@WageWar@anamassard A small band called Teshuah opened for you guys in Springfield, Missouri on the Dayseeker tour when I decided to check you out.
My original favorite song, of course, was The River, closely followed by 21.
This was right after you released Blueprints.
@influen46277678 @TJMoe28 Tight end is one of the most physically demanding positions on offense. If you get a guy that can play into his 40s, you got an insane physical specimen that needs to be immediately put into the hall of fame for longevity alone.
@CraigKristopher @PlasmaBender420 @ConceptualJames The fellowship love is built into all humans, while the agape love can never truly achieved in it’s entirety by humans because there will always be some selfish intention, whether it’s conscious or unconscious.
Humans are incapable of altruism
@CraigKristopher @PlasmaBender420 @ConceptualJames The logic of “knowing yourself to know God” can actually work IF you accept that humans are inherently flawed and need structure and real love (meaning the love that is used in the Bible, which the words used are koininia and agape (meaning fellowship and unconditional)
@andidoxia I think what more people have a problem with is these kids finding bands on TikTok and then not supporting a whole touring bill.
That is not proper show etiquette and that pisses off us that have been in the scene for years and watched all these bands grow into what they are.
