Nerd was a beloved assistant principal, he wanted to invoke change at an inner city school in Chicago. He was murdered by his neighbor after an “altercation”. He was UNARMED & shot 7 times. Nerd was so loving, kind, wise, charismatic and funny. I will forever remember him🤍

Spent over 15 years working in early childhood and primary grades! Next year I’ll be moving out of my comfort zone and teaching third grade! I’m nervous and anxious but also excited! Best of all, I’ll probably end up with some of my old babies! ❤️
