@Obibhatti@MenchOsint@CMShehbaz It is legitimate in the sense that it is internationally recognised and came through an electoral process, which I know wasn't fair but still better than Ansarallah which formed a forceful govt by occupying areas through a civil war
@MenchOsint@CMShehbaz All the respect to Houthis due to their activities against Israel but they are not the legitimate govt of Yemen. Pakistan has to work with the govt which is recognised by the UN. And if that govt & Saudis are on same page, why blaming Pakistan who has just given a statement.
I know Iran is not a saint here but putting everything on them is just unfair. If you want to put blame somewhere, put it on US who still can't acknowledge the fact that it has lost. Put a little pressure there too and on Israel too who has killed 9 people in Gaza just today n/n
All the recent mediation efforts in the Middle East have shown a pattern. Only the weaker side was pressured into giving up. We saw that with Hamas, we saw that with Hezbollah and now with Iran too. Hamas was even pressurised into leaving the govt.. 1/n
And there is zero pressure being put on Israel to stop the attacks. Same is with Iran. It is being told to do this, not to do that, why is Iran doing this, while forgetting that it is being bombed every night. Will any mediation supporter ask US to stop the strikes first... 2/n
@abantika77 At that time test was a very important format, the only one for most of the time period. So things were taken seriously and winning was difficult, that too at the home of cricket. Today things are much different. That said, I take nothing away from India. It was a fantastic win
@cricinfo I know Kohli has played some wonderful innings but he's not the best in the business. He is good but there are much better players than him who have also won trophies for their countries. People overrate him
@hashurtag I just wanna make a point here that this is how you try and stop hostile countries from supporting their proxies. Pakistan should learn a thing or two from the Saudis that mere naming proxies doesn't work much
@Kamran_Yousaf Pakistani journalists had hyped everything too much. There had been two attempts in recent times to establish a deal between US & Iran. Both failed and resulted in a war. Those who had hopes from this effort, just because of Pakistan were just being naive
@MenchOsint Its the real piece of deception. Keep room for strikes by saying ceasefire is over, and keep room for negotiations too, in case the Arabs talk him out of war. Just say Iran is talking so we are too. Like its happening since March
Harry Brook, you beauty. And Indian bowling without Bumrah is pretty toothless. On top of that, their batting stars have failed too. Disastrous series for them, but equally brilliant for Brook's England
@marwanafridi77 Its police, not the army. Police are not trained to fight foreign backed, heavily armed terrorists. Its the state that neglected them. Either train your police or deploy army in the sensitive areas
These two posts sum up the entire war. That's why I am of the opinion that Iran did not win, it survived, and yes there is a difference between the two
If this had happened in any other country, and they knew that another country is involved, they would have unleashed hell on them. But here we are, losing 42 soldiers in 4 days and the response is a presser. I guess, saving other counties is more important than thier own people
DG ISPR in his briefing said that 42 security officials lost their lives in the last four days in three different incidents in Balochistan while 54 terrorists were killed.
US & Iran have been at it for half a century and will probably keep on fighting for another. Pakistan is not Qatar or Switzerland. we can't keep mediating at the expense of its internal security. Get out of this quagmire & focus on the creeping terrorism in KP & Balochistan
