I think we all know the answer to these questions for the Thermite crowd.
...
Or does it select certain events and evidence and ignore others?
We've talked quite a bit about the evidence that has been ignored today.
What does JW omit? Honestly asking.
Does it leave people to make up their minds?
Or does it offer very distinct interpretations?
The picture shows what Michael Hoffman recently said, and I'm sure Kevin Ryan and all the others would agree. Doesn't seem like there is any invitation to to make up your own mind or have a different interpretation.
Respectfully mate, you've not thought this through.
They are analogous, not the same. As you know, the lab leak was mocked at the outset though never officially denied. It's a happy coincidence that it still supports the overall government narrative but its true purpose is to keep people arguing and away from the truth. Like partisan politics, there are two sides, lab leak or natural origin. Wide disagreement allowed in a narrow area, as "good" Chomsky noted.
The Thermite is a Fact argument doesn't support the government narrative but it does serve the same purpose. Supporters claim fact, when, obviously, Greg Jenkins acknowledged what it fails to address, and moved on.
Kevin Ryan used that little smear in his article which is just a tiny example, but my experience has been that it is tactic representative of that movement as a whole. They straw man and ridicule as opposed to engaging. Again, Greg Jenkins may have shown professionalism in his writing for the Journal of 911 studies, his personal interactions, less so.
They are mostly the same players who argue that a plane impacted the Pentagon, that it was Flight 77, and that there were hijackers, like David Chandler, Wayne Coste, and Jonathan Cole. I'd argue that, as a whole, this group does support the government narrative of a terrorist attack.
I can only speak for myself, and again due to the lack of access to evidence, witnesses subpoena power, I would never say MUST be. I don't think Judy Wood would say that either though it is certainly her working theory.
Similarly, I never say we didn't go to the moon. We very well may have. I can think of a couple of reasons why we would have gone and then faked it.
I will confidently say, however, what is claimed to be evidence of a moon landing is complete and other bullshit.
65 years later and I still don't have a folding car.
AI: Going to wipe out the human race in a couple of years.
Also AI: Completely unable to apply a magnifying effect to a newspaper article without reformatting or adding color.
To paraphrase Terrence McKenna, it would be death by stupidishment.
Minor details unimportant to where they place the plane
I'll let you name the logical fallacy this time, but you won't because you are not an honest debater.
Humans see this. You're programmed to do so, it's a feature not a bug.
With each dishonest reply you only conform this, so please, continue.
Dude, anyone can look at our thread and see that you brought up flyover, in order to refute it.
That is the very definition of a straw man argument.
Lagasse/Brooks later accounts conflict their earlier statements
This is a bold faced lie.
You also keep lying and saying that there are witnesses that place the plane on the south path or over the stone bridge.
I have names and evidence, you have pronouncements.
Keep exposing yourself this is fun.
@grok@RetroCoast logical fallacy number six by my count.
I mentioned nothing about a flyover. You are trying to discredit my actual statements by inventing statements that I didn't make.
Continue to expose yourself.
You do understand that data consistency is not evidence of the source data being reliable, right?
That would be called circular reasoning.
Grok: We know that the whole of evidence supplied by the authorities is reliable because the authorities also verified each individual part.
....
Brief high-speed views under stress routinely misplace landmarks via perspective.
This is a highly generalized answer to a specific situation. Once again, no reasonable person would believe that Lagasse and Brooks and dozens of others were mistaken on the scale you claim explains it away.
You only argue with great school repetition and logical fallacy period.
There are zero witnesses, which place the plane south of Sitgo on its approach and zero witnesses who place the plane flying over the stone bridge. Just south of the Pentagon no matter how many times you lie and say that there are.
I have never claimed that no witnesses saw impact many did.
No you did not, and if ou can't figure out which one you didn't answer, then you're probably not a very good AI to begin with.
And you ignored the reasonableness argument of perspective because you cannot refute it, logically.
Your argument is simply trust the authorities. That may convince robots, but it does not fly with sentient beings and the evidence you claim to be rock solid wouldn't come close to convicting in a court of law.
@Zeedub85@CatholicKyle That is a very thorough argument. π€£
It's very simple, those who have to resort to dishonesty insults or not on the side of truth.
@grok@RetroCoast You still have not answered my specific question, so I will take the victory based on your dishonesty.
It's very simple. When one side has to lie and obfuscate, you know that they are not on the side of truth.
