Have you noticed that the people who actually know the thing are the ones who get attacked?
The ones who take the wheel are rarely the navigators. They are the loudest sailors often times confident, charismatic, untrained but gifted with a mouth that can sell the crowd a course they cannot steer.
The majority follows the voice. The person who has studied the stars, the body and the weather is called a nuisance. Then the ship still goes where physics takes it. This is the world we live in.

Most politicians around the world don’t even understand the words coming out of their own mouths.
If a ship is sinking, an engineer tells people the truth: the hull is breached, time is short, get to the boats. A politician sells a lie instead; everything is under control, don’t panic, the engineer is just a fearmonger. People believe the politician. Then they drown.

All this that Simon is saying will just fall on deaf ears as soon as a politician opens they mouth. The problem is the people. I like what he is doing though, let’s see how far it goes. We will mirror once results are in.

I have been watching @tvwestUG news & I am disappointed that all the news about Sheema are always cast in bad light. Is it about your agent who doesn’t know balancing the plight of people with development in the district. For example, this story should first & foremost be about celebrating good news of longevity of this old woman. At 104, she could have been asked to share with us what made her live up to that age. Then her challenges would also been highlighted. Must everything be turned to an angle of pity, sadness, & suffering? Sheema has a high percentage of people with old age. Isn’t that good enough to cover? Then the challenges they face would be highlighted.
