@Utah_Nole A little common sense is needed here. Everything is on the table. If we keep getting smoked and show no life then I have a hard time believing the Administration will stand pat. No more easy wins left. Every team is fighting but us.
@On3@nielsen This article makes no sense. The methodology is flawed. Wisconsin is #3 because of 1 game in Week 1 vs Notre Dame. The article doesn’t show the raw data of viewers per game. The article doesn’t match the weekly viewership figures released per games.
@undred0g Wrong - a salary cap league with a draft forces a level playing field. Teams can’t sign a player for 50 yrs. The cap penalizes teams with high price All Stars who are aging. Sure some teams will be smarter and savy but they can’t corner the market on talent.
@JackiePlashkes Amazing how Dodger apologists ignore a line up, pitching staff and bullpen littered with All Stars. I assume as an investor you look at trends and not isolated events. Role players don’t carry a team to over 90 wins in a season.
@StacieMWheeler Tucker, Skubal, Diaz, Yamamoto, Betts, Freeman etc.
The Yankees great teams were built through their system. The Dodgers not so much. Deferred salaries to afford every great free agent and cornering the market on talent using insurance schemes and bankruptcy advantages.
@Genetics56 You’re telling the schools that sued when everyone said the contracts were ironclad to back off. They won the case. If you are talking survival people tend to be resolved to their positions.
@AndrewBrandt No not really. LA cornered the market on talent acquisition over the past few years. Someone had to play LA they can’t play themselves. LA has pushed the limits (exceeded) and used advantages given under their bankruptcy terms.
@TheDude09106812 Not completely inaccurate. Our population is dependent on immigration to keep up because of the birth and death rates. Our population is changing in race and ethnicity even without the Biden open borders. The issue is manageable LEGAL immigration and not gerrymandering
