I’m truly overwhelmed with gratitude for all the love and support I’ve received from my recent post. Opening up and sharing my cancer journey wasn’t easy…it took a lot for me to be vulnerable in a way I’m not used to.
I’ve always been a very private person and rarely share personal parts of my life, especially on my platforms. But through this, I’ve realized how important it is to have a community and to let people show up for you during your hardest moments. I’m learning that it’s okay to need help, and it’s okay to lean on others.
Having a fully functioning body is such an underrated privilege. Legs that work, eyes that can see, hands that can move.. it’s all a blessing. Take care of it.

Because of surgeries, cancer treatment, and recovery, I’ve been out of work for months, and the medical bills and lost income have become overwhelming.
Any support whether a donation or sharing my fundraiser means so much. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
Update from my unplanned hiatus:
Back in December 2025, I was rushed to the ER thinking I had a simple case of appendicitis. After emergency surgery, I spent a week in the hospital recovering with a drain in my abdomen, a catheter, strong IV antibiotics and multiple breathing treatments. During that time, my biopsy results came back and changed everything…the doctors told me I had appendiceal cancer.
I spent Christmas, New Year’s, and the beginning of this year fighting through multiple major surgeries: an emergency appendectomy that led to an open ileocecectomy, and a month later a right hemicolectomy with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy. Today, I’m proud to call myself a cancer survivor and a fighter.
