Looking female or male has nothing to do with BEING female or male. A person is female or male by virtue of the organisation of their body around producing large or small gametes.

You're using the fact that some people are born with medical conditions which result in tangible differences in the development of their s*x to argue that someone who develops as male in every metric can change s*x.

I'm really not convinced by this poll by the trans activist org Translucent which claims there are 'hardly any' complaints about men in women-only facilities.

A few reasons: I'm aware of one council where at least THREE women complained about a man in their women-only changing area in a council run swimming pool. Yet the FOI response that I've seen said only one person had complained. Where are the other two?

Secondly, look at the wording on this example of Translucent's FOI to one council - it only mentions 'transgender women'. The person I know who complained only ever said 'man' in the women's changing room in her complaint. Could this be a 'get out clause' for councils to say they have had no complaints about 'transgender women'. I think it might.

Thirdly, it mentions 'recorded incidents'. I know from speaking to women affected by this that organisations (and no doubt councils) are extremely reluctant to officially record incidents or complaints of this nature and like to deal with it 'off the record' if they can.

It's only speculation at this point. But I'd be interested to hear your experiences and thoughts and to know if any woman who HAS complained to her local council about this issue has followed it up with an FOI or indeed, has checked out their council's response to Translucent's FOI. Does it match up with your knowledge of whether there have been complaints?

Bradley Richard Sirvio beat a man to death with a hammer before setting the victim’s house on fire.

A repeat offender, Sirvio has several other convictions that include multiple charges of assault, burglary, and theft.

He was quietly transferred to MCF-Shakopee, Minnesota’s only women’s prison, in November of 2023, after declaring he felt like a woman and started calling himself “Aurora.”

Female inmates have been told to share a shower with Sirvio, despite the convicted killer having had “no surgery whatsoever.”

Not a single MP identified anything the Code got wrong about the law in the Commons statement on Monday. There was just lots of whinging about the fact they didn’t like the law. Well, you’re MPs. You’re in a better position than most to campaign to change it. I and other feminists will oppose you every step of the way though.
