Wheat Export Quota Allocation _Malpractices by the Indian #Wheat Industry
This whole process of wheat and wheat products export in India looks like a joke.
In public notice number 49 dated 24th February, there was a clear condition that the export quota would be allocated only against confirmed export contracts. As per market sources, when the first 25 LMT of exports was permitted, applications were received against 75โ80 LMT (I dont have a proof for this number) of confirmed export contracts.
Logically, a pro-rata allocation was made, and exporters were allotted only 25 LMT.
Now the real questions arise.
If 75โ80 LMT of export contracts were indeed genuine, did Indian exporters default on the remaining 50โ55 LMT of contracts?
If they did not default, then what happened to those export orders? Why has there been no discussion or concern about them?
In contrast, during the 2022 wheat export ban, the quantity affected was barely around 20 LMT, yet exporters across the country were running behind DGFT and the entire industry was in turmoil.
If nothing happened to the remaining 50โ55 LMT of contracts this time, then another obvious question arises: were some of these export contracts merely created to obtain export quota?
If the contracts were genuine, why has India not even exported 10% of the allocated quantity so far?
These are serious questions that raise eyebrows over the entire allocation process.
Indian wheat Industry is using unfair practices and no one is there to raise even a single question.

A severe punishment is required by Govt to these fake documentation
Instead of simply allowing holders of unused quotas to retain or seek fresh allocations, the Government should verify the authenticity of the contracts submitted at the time of allocation.
If any exporter obtained quota on the basis of fake or non-genuine contracts, strict action should be taken against them.
@JM_Scindia@DoT_India@JioCare This is the worst @JioCare customer service I've experienced. Your executives make false commitments, and no one takes ownership of the issue. I'm paying for a service that I haven't been able to use for days.
Kindly resolve this immediately
