The absolute peak nostalgia is felt deep in my chest. 2012 was the year I graduated high school, freedom was ramping up and all those songs remind me of nights out at the club or driving with friends in the car. 2014 hit me harder and sent me back to even better times. 💕

This rubs me in so many ways. Our national parks are being mismanaged by the government, and offering free access to new immigrants doesn't help the situation.

If you're new to this country, worry about settling in, learning the language and finding a job. You'll have plenty of time to visit the parks later. And when you do go for a visit.... you can pay, just like the rest of us have to do.

Sometimes I get sad in the thought that I’m not really anybody’s “number one” friend. My inner child still hasn’t been healed in that thought process and I’m ashamed to think that way. But it feels good when you’ve got a person who just wants you for you.
