Hey, I have officially joined @FactoryAI as Guild Member!
I've been building with @droid for a while and I'm super excited to take the building journey to another level..
expect more technical content, guides, and real usecases going forward.
feel free to reach out in case you have feedback I can bring to the team!
BTW: this vid was generated using Droid and @HyperFrames_ ... posting a short article soon about the build process and some obstacles I faced
Okay, I need some more details before I send out the invites; please fill this out if you have voted yes!
And if you're someone who's new to Droid or coding agents in general, you should sign up as well! I'm conducting a virtual workshop on how to use agents for beginners!

Can't relate more, and I think most of us are feeling it. I am always tired, context switching, and becoming more lazy.
Not lazy in terms of how much I do, but in terms of how deep I do each task. I feel I'm losing the ability to set working on a task for hours like before, or even learning more complex ideas that need me to stay focused for long time. I try to put effort into finding the balance and keeping my brain in shape, but it's just difficult
We're all into "token fatigue" state..
AI was supposed to make us work less
I've never been this tired in my life
most days I have up to 10 agents running at the same time. one fixing a bug, one writing pages, one refactoring something I already forgot I asked for, 3 other I have no idea what they are doing but i suppose i ask it?
and I jump from conversation to conversation all day
compared to 5 years ago, I probably context switch 100x more
by the end of the day my brain is fried. completely toasted. nothing left, not even for the people I love
I call it the fried brain effect
thought it was just me but almost every founder I talk to lately says the exact same thing
we got superpowers, and somehow the pressure only went up. if you can ship 10x more, you feel like you have to ship 10x more. every single day
I don't have a solution
honestly I have no idea where this goes from here
anyone else feeling this?
Introducing OpenCompute: a self-hosted orchestrator for agent sandboxes on your choice of runtime.
Adopting autonomous software development should not require handing over your valuable code and context to someone else’s cloud.
Scale your fleet of remote agents while keeping them in your VPC.
Ever wanted to run your agents remotely but thought, "why setup a whole new env when I already have my own dev machines?"
well, @FactoryAI just introduced Remote Control. bring your own machines, fire up Droid sessions remotely, and keep everything running on your own infrastructure!
I just did it today in a couple of minutes. just install @droid on your machine, login, enable remote control, or tell droid to set it up for you!
Gemini 4 Argon is available in Factory, day 0.
Observations so far:
- Fixed input validation without breaking existing functionality
- Delivered a multi-module app with idempotent behavior at high effort

I've been moving more of my dev environment to cloud agents, especially for long-running @droid missions and loving the flexibility. Though reproducibility has been a pain
@FactoryAI 's new environment blueprints tackle exactly that. Time to get droiding!
This week we're shipping our vision for the best cloud agent experience. We’re starting with an often-overlooked but critical foundation for any agent: the sandbox where it runs.
Today, we’re introducing Environments, now generally available.
Day 1 My notes & building with @droid
Can't believe this might be the best oneshot harness for AI agents i've used so far.
@FactoryAI really cooked with this one.
i just one shotted a skydive hero section using
Sonnet 5.5 (high). gave it just one prompt,
it cook for 10 mins, and the result was way better than i expected. i'll drop the whole prompt below.
One thing i really liked is that Droid comes with 20+ builtin agent skills. you don't need to set up everything yourself, which makes the whole building experience even much easier.
Image generation is another big win for me.
Droid has GPT image models built in, so it can actually generate beautiful visuals while building. this is something i've always missed in Claude Code and other coding agents.
Droid Core is also pretty interesting. you get a separate usage pool for models like GLM, MiniMax, DeepSeek, Mistral, etc. even after your standard usage runs out, Core has its own limits at no extra cost. not unlimited, but kinda feels like it 😭
so far, the experience has been smooth asf. the models, skills, image gen, everything just works the way i want.
From now on, Droid is my main coding agent. no second thoughts.
Might actually stick with this one for good, man. frr 😭
More builds coming.
the most irritating(and HARDEST) game in the world.
Getting Over It
by @griffpatch@bfod
i couldn't beat it so i trained an rl model to play it for me
built on @droid
i've been @droid pilled lately.
this mission has been running for over a day now, and it'll probably take another day.
my only complaint is that it's slow, but going through the logs, i kinda understand why.
sometimes you just have to let the agents cook while you do something else
What if you could turn any SVG into 131,000 particles, in its own colors?
Drop in a logo and the swarm takes its shape. Switch files and it flies to the next one, recoloring and morphing mid-flight. Stir it, scatter it, and it settles back.
