We all want to be on the big stage, appear on the big tv show, make the big sale or get the big job right now. But big opportunities and responsibilities come from doing the small things with a big dose of passion, love, purpose and excellence. Be faithful where you are!
You're in the middle of your calling right now. If you're in a bad job, the best season of marriage, or if you're suffering and shaking, you're STILL in the right place. In the bad & good, your GPS location isn't an accident & every space will be a teacher if you allow it to be.
“If we are not making decisions in our lives that seem weird or radical to lukewarm people, we probably need to evaluate what’s going on. Believers on a mission are going to look a little crazy to most of the world.” -Francis Chan
Only Jesus has the power to change people, and it will be harder for them to see Jesus if their view of Him is blocked by our big opinions.” -@bobgoff

“Someone once asked me what I would write if I only had six words for my autobiography. Here’s what I came up with: What if we weren’t afraid anymore?”

But no matter what, remind yourself of this every. single. day:
You are loved. And you are ok to feel things deeply.
Just remember to let those feelings drive you towards love, service, and choosing people (including yourself).
“I think a father’s job, when it’s done best, is to get down on both knees, lean over his children’s lives, and whisper, ‘Where do you want to go?’ Every day God invites us on the same kind of adventure. It’s not a trip where He sends us a rigid itinerary, He simply invites us.”
“We can pretend to have all the game we want to up on stage, in the pulpit, on the field, at work, or in our faith communities.
But it’s how we engage with the rental- car attendant or the grocery bagger ... that lets everybody know where we really are with Jesus.” @bobgoff
“Jesus doesn’t love us more or less based on how we act. Far better, He continues to tell us through our successes and our mistakes who we are, and here’s what He wants us to know - we are His.”

You've got a purpose. It's not as abstract or as out of reach as you think it is. It's there. And it usually involves other people-- reminding them just how capable they are, how worthy they are, how much they matter in a crazy, confused world.
I wonder what happened to Chip, Gabey, and Ozzy. Did they meet there girls again? Did they die in war? Did Chip go back to Periora?
To bad I don't have an MCA Writing test to process my feelings.
The mistake gets made when we belittle our current location in the journey because we just want to be "there" now. I think "there" is really just "here" with more wrinkles in its face.
