Vaccines do not cause autism
Vaccine doses are nowhere close to “the size of a bottle of soda,” they’re a fraction of a teaspoon
The combo MMR vaccine is not “quite lethal,” it’s been very safe for more than five decades
There are no separate M/M/R shots available in the US and won’t be anytime soon
Autism prevalence wasn’t “1 in 10,000” in 2006, it was 1 in 110
No state has been requiring little kids to get “72 jabs,” nor even by age 18
Fact check on the rapid-fire vaccine misinformation President Trump delivered yesterday while pushing to change US vaccine policy: https://t.co/qSF53N8XJW
Every professional organization in medicine should denounce the involvement of private equity in healthcare. They should send a clear message to their young physician members that PE is bad for hospitals, private practices, and patients.
They won’t do it, but they should.
Just a reminder my Canadian friends. Many spring projects.
Home Depot is 100% American owned. The owner is Bernard Marcus is a huge Trump supporter.

The MMR vaccine does not cause autism.
There is no need for further research on this.
It's been done.
Multiple times. At a cost of billions.
Its a settled question.
Since the folks I’ve blocked can now see my tweets, here’s a reminder:
Vaccines work and save lives.
Antivaccine sentiment harms and kills children.
The above are factual statements.
Facts don’t care about your feelings.
I’m Canadian, so I shouldn’t be this stressed about the US election … but here I am, like a nervous neighbour watching a house fire from across the street.

Not only one of their best albums, it is considered one of the best Canadian albums ever made.
It also contains my favourite Canadian song, Wheat Kings.

On this day 44 years ago Terry Fox, a 21 year old Canadian who lost a leg to cancer, began an east to west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research. He ran the equivalent of a full marathon every day and made it 143 days and 5,373 km before he lost his battle with cancer
Today is #SnakeBite Awareness Day.
Q: What should I do if someone is bitten by a poisonous snake 🐍?
A:
⏱️ Time is essential - seek medical care without delay
💉 Get antivenom within 4-6 hours after bite
‼️ Immobilize the bitten person and keep them from moving around at all
🫁 If possible place them on their side to help protect their airway and breathing

On this day, a tiny town in Canada opened up its hearts — and its homes — to 7,000 stranded passengers in a desperate time of need.
They didn’t care about politics, or who the President was. They did it because it's what Canadians do best.
A Goodable 🧵
This week Doug Ford offhandedly admitted he knows Ontario’s healthcare system is in trouble. He also made it clear he sees humour in that. Which makes it entirely reasonable to infer he’s not doing anything about it.
Doug Ford should step down now.
