Been getting a lot of comments on YouTube asking how Justice is doing, so here’s an update on my girl. Thank you to everyone who’s been checking on her.

These clips are day 1 and day 60 of her journey on two peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500. She was struggling to walk and run when we started. Now she’s back to sprinting.

I’ve been recording her along the way, and looking back at that first clip makes me appreciate seeing her run around again even more.

I’ll keep sharing her progress with you all. ❤️

Eu escrevi sobre isto ainda nesta madrugada, e insisto, clamo, que este crime não pode passar impune pois o país caminha, lentamente, para uma política de respeito aos animais e nada pode ser tratado com tamanha negligência.

O tratamento que as pessoas deram a este fato, ao longo da semana passada, foi secundário e precisa ser esclarecido: a tutora levou o animal, alguém o levou com ou sem permissão dela?

A tutora do animal afirma que horas antes de morrer, em 28 de outubro, ele sofreu uma crise de tosse, que perdurou por 30 minutos. Segundo ela, houve aparente melhora e horas depois, o animal entrou em óbito.

O laudo do veterinário Antônio Petuscco, apontou como causa mortis um edema pulmonar agudo. Segundo ele, o stress, o excesso de esforço e à exposição de fumaça teriam levado o animal à morte.

Nos dias anteriores ao óbito, o animal de 15 anos, foi arrastado, pichado, obrigado a carregar peso e submetido à toda a humilhação possível, como se estivesse em uma histeria coletiva. Segundo relatos nas redes, ele ficou exposto à fumaça e atemorizado pelos gritos de Bolsonaristas que o chamavam de "Lula".

O fato de um ritual desta proporção, de tamanha irresponsabilidade misturada à uma enorme crueldade, ter sido promovido por um bando de retardados mentais, com pouca ou nenhuma capacidade intelectual, e zero empatia, nao os torna imunes à lei. Nada na lei diz que idiotas têm o direito de expor animais à um ato cruel.

O fato desta gentalha achar algo divertido, torna o fato ainda mais passível de investigação. Será que ninguém teve um lampejo de que este animal, pichado e submetido, estava sendo exposto a um imenso sofrimento?

É preciso identificar quem promoveu a marcha do animal, quem permitiu a sua ida, se houve permissão de que ele fosse, e quem era a pessoa responsável pelo ato político.

Tudo isto é importante para esclarecer os fatos, responsabilizar os verdadeiros culpados e também para mostrar que não existe democracia com maus tratos a animais."

Ruben was born in a private zoo in the mountains of Armenia.

When the zoo’s owner died, the facility closed. The other animals found new homes, but nobody came for Ruben, a 10-year-old lion.

For the next six years, he lived alone in a concrete cell. His roaring gradually stopped. Those who checked on him heard only an occasional cry.

Eventually, Animal Defenders International (ADI) stepped in and arranged to rescue him.

Ruben was moved to a bear sanctuary in Armenia for treatment. Years of poor nutrition and almost no exercise had left him weak. His legs trembled when he walked, and veterinarians suspected spinal problems.

Because his transport crate was too large for a regular flight, a cargo airline generously flew him to freedom at no cost.

On August 23, 2023, after approximately 15 hours in the air, Ruben arrived at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa.

For the first time in nearly six years, he could hear and see other lions.

And then something beautiful happened.

Ruben began roaring again.

The sanctuary staff say his roars have been growing louder ever since.

His new enclosure includes grassy slopes and a shelter with heated floors. Staff even gave him a bag of catnip, which he happily played with for a long time.

Ruben still faces serious challenges. Cataracts cloud his eyes, and sometimes his legs give way beneath him. He will need specialized care for the rest of his life.

But now, he is no longer alone.

He lives among other lions, enjoys the sunshine, and has finally found a place where he can feel safe.

After six years of silence and isolation, Ruben’s roar has returned.

And this time, the world is listening.
