Chronic illness is waking up everyday with symptoms that'd send others straight to the emergency room, but instead of going there, going through days in pain trying to build a living. So people say "well it can't be that bad". It can. We just can't go to ER every time it is.

humanities degrees can lead to analysis paralysis and stem degrees can lead to a reductive solutionist perspective. but I have never heard anyone from humanities question the need for stem to exist. it's a problem that so many consider humanities an indulgence and not a necessity

how does one go about starting a foundation/support for others suffering with the same chronic illness to get the community, support and financial funding they need for access to proper medical care and assistance?

Its inconceivable for us to just all carry on in the same vein knowing that the medicines, scans and procedures that help us the most are so far out of reach for so many. There has to be some sort of help/solution outside of ‘the most expensive’ med aid options.
