@DragonBruh1234 I feel like de-emphasising textures really hurt the visuals. Makes everyone look like they're made of clay and rubber. Wii Travis had hand painted shadows on his skin, which added depth and roughness to his face.

@Doonishsan Playing the game, I felt the main weakness was the clash between facial actors having to perform seated, restraining their movement whilst having that pasted onto an entirely separate, mime-like performance for the body.

It gave the final animation, a surreal puppetry vibe.

@TennyUnderscore Obviously Unleashed isn't open world but many open world titles on 360 look a lot better than Frontiers and feature much more dense environments. It's a pretty lame excuse to blame hardware for Sonic Team's shortcomings.

@TennyUnderscore Sega themselves managed to Unleashed running on the 360/PS3, both consoles weaker than Switch 1.

And yet Unleashed (despite it's low points) is undeniably a much more polished and visually impressive title.
