@paulpierce34 None of these people saw pierce actually contribute in the playoffs whenever he got a shot, he should have played more in his last season!
@BoFsporttakes@big_business_ I watched every wizards game in 2022 and I can confirm this post is mostly accurate. he’s so overrated and doesn’t help you win.
In light of all this NBA news reminds me of a good story. In one of the later years of Paul Pierce time in Boston as a Celtic they were in Miami to play the Heat. I get a text very early in the morning around 6 am from someone that says “Paul been in a private PLO game all night and is completely wasted and plays the Heat at noon.” By the time word got out to sharps we had moved the line from Heat -11 all the way to -14 at tip I believe. I sat and watched the game and Paul went out and had like 35 points and LeBron hit a game winner to barely win the game. Fast forward later that summer during WSOP Paul walks up to the high limit area at Bellagio poker room where I was playing PLO. I said “hey Paul, nice game in Miami, were you feeling ok?” He snap replied sensing I knew his status the morning of game, “listen I can get 30 on anyone, high, drunk it don’t matter.” I smiled and said, “well u fucked me out of like 15k” 😀
depression is contagious, ugliness is contagious, habits are contagious, even discipline is
almost all behaviors are
that’s why the most important thing you can do is be very careful who you surround yourself with
no matter the relationship you have with someone, if they are sad or ugly or a person you wouldn’t want to be like, avoid them.
This man made a game where, if you chose Easy Mode, you would be forced to wear a pink ribbon around your arm as a mark of shame.
When playtrsters said the game was too difficult, he made it even harder because he knew satisfaction comes from adversity. He believed in you.
