I still remember 22 yo Virat Kohli telling me to go deep in the crease and play with soft hands to counter late swing. He reads things that almost no one else does. Padikkal has been a different batter when he bats with Kohli. Ruturaj got a hundred with him. Ishan Kishan scored a double hundred out of nowhere with him. It’s genuinely a luxury every young batter would want. 👏
