*Fact 4: Nepal & Bhutan buy pure petrol from India… and sell it cheaper to their citizens!

धोबी का कुत्ता अथवा धोबी का कुतका?

कुछ बरसों से बार-बार अनेक लोगों द्वारा कहा जा रहा है “धोबी का कुत्ता न घर का न घाट का” कहावत ठीक नहीं है, और सच्ची कहावत है “धोबी का कुतका न घर का न घाट का”। कई लोकप्रिय हिन्दीभाषी अभिनेता और पत्रकार भी डटकर यह कह चुके हैं, जिससे अनेक लोग इस बात को मानने लगे हैं।

सच यह है “धोबी का कुत्ता न घर का न घाट का” ही सच्ची कहावत है। हितोपदेश में एक धोबी के कुत्ते की कथा आती है और सम्भवतः यह कहावत वहीं से आई है। सोलहवीं/सत्रहवीं शताब्दी में गोस्वामी तुलसीदास ने कवितावली में “धोबी कै सो कूकर न घर को न घाट को” ऐसा प्रयोग किया है। सत्रहवीं शताब्दी में निपट निरंजन ने अपने काव्य में “धोबी का कुत्ता रहा, घर का न घाट का” ऐसा प्रयोग किया है। “धोबी का कुत्ता न घर का न घाट का” के विविध रूपों के अनेक पुस्तकों और कोशों में प्रमाण हैं।

इसके विपरीत “धोबी का कुतका न घर का न घाट का” ऐसी कहावत न किसी ऐताहिसिक साहित्यिक कृति में है और न किसी कोश में। ऐसी कहावत कभी थी ही नहीं, यह केवल सामाजिक संचार शोधशाला (Social Media Research Institute) और काहो विश्वविद्यालय (WhatsApp University) की उपज है।

In 3 decades of Govt Service, I have been assaulted around 15 times on duty, just like the drs in the video are. Every single time, I have given a complaint to the Dean,RMO & the local Inspector of Police in writing. How many goons hv been prosecuted- ZERO.

Why was this politician atleast arrested? Coz, the incident was caught on CCTV and the victim was both a female & Dalit Dr. Does anyone talk abt the male Dr, who was also assaulted? No.

Violence to settle things is the norm , rather than the exception in India- one of the most primitive/brutal societies in the world. Believe me, every single day there is an assault on a Tamilnadu Govt Dr, posted in this or that WhatsApp grp. How many r prosecuted? To my knowledge, none.
Once I was assaulted with bleeding injuries on duty at a local GH, walked up to the police outpost and with blood dripping from my body on the complaint paper, gave a written complaint addressed to the Police Inspector. Later, the case also came to court. Nurses & wardboys testified as witnesses. I identified the assailants & weapons in court.
The judge who sat in the case was an honest upright lady. I was then treating her father. I cd see that she was determined that justice be delivered. What happened? Ultimately the case was dismissed. The honest Inspector later met me & was fuming. "Sir, what can I do? In TN, everything is politicised. Our (honest) DC has received calls from 3 ministers. The APP has received 'calls'. All the witnesses who testified for u, later turned hostile. Their families have been threatened with death. Sometimes, I feel like resigning sir. There is no justice in Tamilnadu." Remember that was an Inspector of Police speaking.
If you are a medical student/intern/ resident, get your degrees & get the f*** out of this thankless country. I have a hundred more incidents to relate.

सरकार ethanol पर दूसरे देशों का उदाहरण देकर लोगों के विरोध को दबाने की कोशिश कर रही है।

सच तो यह है कि जर्मनी, फ्रांस और अमेरिका में E10 से ऊपर का फ्यूल इस्तेमाल ही नहीं हो रहा है। जापान तो अभी केवल E3 ही इस्तेमाल कर रहा है, और थाईलैंड में भी E10 और E20 दोनों के विकल्प मौजूद हैं।

पूरी दुनिया में सिर्फ ब्राजील ही ऐसा देश है जहाँ E100 इस्तेमाल हो रहा है, और ब्राजील ने इस ट्रांजिशन के लिए पूरे 50 साल का समय लिया। लेकिन भारत में 2023 में E20 का ट्रायल किया गया और महज 3 साल में पूरे देश पर E20 थोप दिया गया।

मैं मोदी जी से हाथ जोड़कर विनती करता हूँ...

हमारे देश में 22 करोड़ मोटरसाइकिलें और 8 करोड़ कारें ऐसी हैं जो E20 के लिए नहीं बनी हैं। सरकार की ज़बरदस्ती के कारण ये सभी गाड़ियाँ कबाड़ बन जाएँगी।

आप जनता को ऑप्शन तो दीजिए। देश के सभी पेट्रोल पंपों पर E10, E20 और E0 सब उपलब्ध होना चाहिए। फैसला जनता का होना चाहिए कि वे अपनी गाड़ी में कौन सा पेट्रोल डालना चाहते हैं, न कि सरकार का।

मैं सरकारी प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में आईं सभी ऑटो कंपनियों को चिट्ठी लिखूँगा, कि वे लिखित में अपने ग्राहकों को यह आश्वासन दें कि गाड़ी में E20 इस्तेमाल करने पर यदि—

1) माइलेज 10% से ज़्यादा गिरता है, तो कंपनी उसकी भरपाई करेगी।

2) गाड़ी का कोई भी पार्ट डैमेज होता है, तो कंपनी उसे मुफ़्त में रिप्लेस करेगी।

अगले हफ़्ते मैं प्रधानमंत्री जी को भी चिट्ठी लिखूँगा और पूछूँगा कि अगर किसी की गाड़ी में कोई भी दिक्कत आती है, तो उसका हरजाना आप देंगे या कंपनी देगी?
