@HJoyceGender@mmatthewswriter@ameliabombelia@RosieKayK2CO@Glinner I’m really sorry but as arrests go this was a by the book arrest and nothing special was done for Glinner here. People who are wanted (which Glinner was) and who travel into the UK are arrested when they arrive.
@gg4dxqn22f@TessW62@mmatthewswriter@HJoyceGender@RosieKayK2CO@Glinner That’s a voluntary interview and a different legal procedure. Bail conditions couldn’t be applied and the agent doesn’t have to say where Glinner is. Yes, they know where the court is but arresting at court carries issues too.
@TessW62@mmatthewswriter@HJoyceGender@RosieKayK2CO@Glinner Not necessarily easy to find him. First available opportunity was at the airport. As the other person has said, the police are always armed at the airport, it wasn’t anything special for Glinner, but that doesn’t change how it looks or would have felt for him.
@TessW62@mmatthewswriter@HJoyceGender@RosieKayK2CO@Glinner When he arrived on the plane, the Met knew where he was. Once he leaves the airport, finding him again would be difficult. So he’s arrested at the first opportunity when his location is known (I am not saying he should have been arrested, just why he was arrested there)
@reeddiamond it’s autograph convention announcement time here in the UK, but there’s so many now it’s hard to keep up! Are you planning to come over for any (with Drop, HLOTS getting a new lease of life, and having been in Agents of Shield etc, it seems fair!), please?
Every year foxhunts kill over 3000 of their hounds using bolt guns, but Nigel Farage thinks they are wonderful @Nigel_Farage@reformparty_uk@LeagueACS@HuntSabs
This is footage secretly obtained by the Hunt Saboteurs shows Carmarthenshire huntsman Will Pinckney shooting dead 9 hounds in 40 minutes

@Ash87Campbell @lorrainemking You don’t have to agree with the laws.
If you don’t agree with the laws you don’t have to visit the country.
But if you do visit the country you have to obey the laws.
Well, you don’t. But if you get caught breaking them, you can’t be surprised if you get punished.
@BoarSoulless @lorrainemking No. In Britain the age if consent is 16 because that’s the law here. In other countries it’s older and you need to obey their laws, even if they’re different.
@DerrenBrown@MarcFreccero It looks gorgeous but the font is quite small and the book very heavy. I know it’s not as fancy but for those of us with old eyes who would finding lugging a kg of book round - please consider an ebook!
@cruncherwax @sundersays Looked this up as confused too. Forbes says there’s 3 ways to do it, he’s not paid directly.
1. sponsorship (unlikely)
2. affiliate links (he promotes something, people buy it, he gets paid)
3. subscription - essentially tweets that are behind a paywall.

@tomjennings@outonbluesix Sky magazine was fab. My dad used to deliver magazines to newsagents and return home with a copy that had “fallen off the back”. It ended up going downhill and closing :(
Ms Fenn is alive and well and was in the third season of twin peaks recently.
