My last client literally built what he wanted with AI and handed it to me to make it sick.

No Figma. Just Framer + Claude

And he’s fucking happy with the result. This is the part people miss about AI.

It’s making it stupidly easy to take AI slop and turn it into an actual fucking website.

everyone on my feed is ditching framer for claude “why pay for a site builder when claude builds the whole site in 2 hrs”

and yeah, it does build it in 2 hrs, but look at what’s getting built

same layout, same hero and the same “ai-powered platform for modern teams” headline that you’ve seen on 50 other sites

and i’ve been checking yc startups lately and half of them look identical as hell!

the tool didn’t make them faster instead it made them forgettable

and claude doesn’t know what your competitor’s site is missing!

it doesn’t know why people actually sign up
it doesn’t know what to show above the fold

it builds what you ask for
and if you don’t know what to ask for, you get the average of the internet

the people getting real results from claude are the ones who’ve looked at hundreds of sites

they know what good looks like, so they know what to prompt

same tool, completely different output
the other thing nobody talks about is:

the founders i worked with don’t even care about code or the builder they just want to change a headline or publish a blog post without pinging anyone

visual editor: takes 2 minutes
claude: “hey can you change this i wanted this and that”

and honeslty they didnt even know what to make change!

that’s why i still build client sites in framer
they edit it themselves, and i jump back in when it’s time to test and improve

and i’m not saying claude is bad. i use it daily but building fast and converting are two different things

my last client paid me $4k to migrate his ai-built site to framer

half of the yc startups i seen have the same generic claude built sites! they all look identical and the ones with a clean site look more credible and usually have the actual userbase and every founder i worked with doesnt really care about custom code or framer. they just want a simple way to update their site it can be through claude or just open the site and make changes directly! and the framer still nails that and my last client paid me $4k just to migrate his ai built site to framer with a little redesign!
