Let me get this straight:
The Supreme Court says states cannot decide how to regulate guns—yet only the states can decide how to regulate a woman’s body.
I have spent the past few days researching the training of Uvalde officers, including the tactics they were expected to use to halt school shooters.
The documents are jarring. Here’s a thread of our findings so far.

When President Clinton banned assault rifles in 1994, mass shootings dropped by 43%. After Republicans let the ban expire in 2004, they increased by 243% — please don’t tell me bans don’t work, because I don’t want to hear it.
If you are not disgusted after reading this thread and still think gun reformation should not happen and that police do more good than harm, please never talk to me again.
Cops stood outside the school while the killer rampaged inside.

The consistent message in so many things that happen in the US, from gun violence to the pandemic, is that there’s no such thing as enough death and suffering that will make the machine stop. So much death is preventable but those with the power are happy to keep it going.
My upstairs neighbor really stays blasting music every night that I can hear every word of through my own headset. You can bet I’m making a noise complaint every night for it when it’s midnight and it’s still happening.
